Colorado Springs, Colorado - A father's problems

This blog is going to reach out and expose the system our community uses so it can positively change how it reacts to any Special Needs child intervention.

This blog will surely touch those who realize something more has to be done for our Special need's children residing in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

I am the father of Penelope Gayle Arnold. She is a gift that came into this world on May 6th 1998 while I was on active duty with the US Air Force at Schriever AFB. She profoundly positively touches all who come in contact with her. Her hurdles are huge. They are seemingly bound by moments of individual success which somehow rise up over the daunting walls and obstacles which would be easier to bypass... if she only could.

Penny is proof that we are endowed with a greatness granted by God.

Penelope was negatively affected by a system that was designed to assist her. That system is DHS. This is in regards to DHS Dependency & Neglect Case # 04JV1159. I will provide details of this travesty in another posting.
