Some good news...
Penny has been returned to the home. She is no longer associated with the DHS system/organization. Of course this means that she must go to the bottom of the line to obtain any SSI benefits... another 1 1/2 year long wait to obtain such medical help from the State of Colorado.
Penny is going to be 9 years old on May 6th.
We are planning a birthday party for this weekend. I will take pictures and upload them to the blog/website. I don't anticipate any family involvement... thus far they are batting 100% in ignoring their granddaughter. I don't anticipate this to change any day soon.
